Onsite TESOL Course
ATI Special Three Weeks Project - Course Components
1. Language Background:
The session comprises Grammar and Phonology. Grammar will include awareness
of the basics of English Grammar and how to teach Grammar. Where as
Phonology will cover stress, rhythm, intonation and the speech organs.
2. Learning a Foreign Language:
This session will help the trainee understand what helps and hinders the
language learning process and what it feel likes to be in a language
learners shoes.

These sessions will include:
4. Teaching Observation:
Trainees will be expected to observe 2 Teaching Sessions and write reports
on them. These will also help them to observe a model lesson before their
own teaching practice.
5. Teaching Practice:
Teacher trainees will have 6 teaching Practice classes which will be
observed by trainers and the trainees given feedback on them. They will also
self evaluate and peer evaluate these Teaching Practice classes helping them
to reflect on their own teaching and those of others.

Korean Studies (Online and after landing in South Korea)
Course Contents – 80 hrs online
80 hour online program consists of assignments and readings from
Cambridge University Teaching English to Speakers of Other
Languages textbook.

Course Contents –20 hrs Online and On Site Orientation
20 hour orientation in Asian Culture / South Korean Culture,
Schools and ethics which is usually send through e-books and local
orientation in South Korea after landing

Program details of ‘Travel and Teach Project’ are given below. The
whole course and the ESL job in Korea come at a mere price of USD
500.
There are three parts of the Program
Online 80 hrs of International TESOL Course
20 hrs of E-Book reading on South Korea
20 hrs of Onsite Orientation
Online 80 hrs of International TESOL Course
After signing up for the course the candidates will be given a
username and a password with which they can access the course.
There are expected to submit the assignments on time which will be
evaluated regularly and the feedback will be given to the
candidates.
There are regular video lectures on the websites which the
candidates can listen to and also see the lecture on the
whiteboard.
The candidates can chat with the instructor online and also with
their fellow candidates.
It is mandatory for the candidates to do the job given by American
TESOL Institute for the time period specified in the contract.
The TESOL certificate will be given after completing teaching
practice in Thailand.

The twenty hours of reading material on South Korea is given which
will give a complete insight of the life and culture of Korea.
20 hrs of Onsite Orientation
There is a cultural orientation of twenty hours once the ESL
teachers reach South Korea.
