What is Special Korea Project

Our Special TESOL Project – Korea & Thailand will start with an intensive ( three weeks, 120 hours full time) TESOL Certificate Program in Thailand followed by an ESL job program for 1 year in South Korean school with free accommodation provided, airfare, health insurance and many more.

The TESOL Certificate Program starts on Monday, 27th July 2009, sharp at 9 AM.

The TESOL Certificate Course will end on 14th August 2009.

The program is normally conducted Monday to Friday, but additional classes may be organized on 1 or 2 Saturdays also.

We would recommend you not to land later than 26th July 2009 noon, as our program starts on 27th July sharp at 9 AM. We always recommend landing a few days earlier to get adapted to the place and for this reason we have arranged for your accommodation from 12 noon of 25th July 2009.

Airport Pick up:
We have free airport pick up and transfer for you:

We have free Airport pick up from Chiang Mai Airport at any time day from 25th July. For those who are landing before that need to arrange their own accommodation till 25th July and join us at the Resort. (Details will be emailed)

Please let us know your arrival date beforehand so that we can make the necessary arrangements accordingly.

Accommodation:
Our accommodation in Chiang Mai, Thailand is available from 12 noon 25th July, 2009. Teachers landing before that must arrange for their own accommodation.

Accommodation in Thailand will be available till 16th August, 2009, 12 noon;

Important dates
Important dates for TEFL course in Thailand

Date of landing
Don't land later than 26th July 2009 noon, as our program starts on 27th July sharp at 9 AM. We always recommend landing a few days earlier to get adapted to the place and for this we have arranged for accommodation from 12 noon of 25th July 2009.

TEFL Program
The TESOL Certificate Program starts on Monday, 27th July 2009, sharp at 9 AM

The TESOL Certificate Course will end on 14th August 2009

Korea dates:
You are requested to land in South Korea latest by 1st September, 2009.

The teacher's orientation program will be conducted by the school. ESL orientation start date will be emailed to all signed up candidates. Few schools may arrange for teacher's orientation on a later date after the teacher's joining. (Candidates will be informed about the dates in due time.)

Teaching assignments starts around 1st September, 2009 onwards.

Teachers will be picked up from airport in South Korea (Seoul - Incheon International Airport). (Details will be emailed to you by the concern person in South Korea).

Air Tickets
Keeping the above dates in mind you are requested to book your Air tickets. It is recommended that you must land in Thailand on 25th or 26th July (Saturday/Sunday) at Chiang Mai. We have Airport pick up from the Airport.

Visa
It is strongly recommended that you land in Thailand on a Tourist Visa which will allow you to stay in Thailand up to 60 days, so if you are landing on 24th or 25th July, you can stay up to 23rd or 24th September in Thailand.

You have to land in South Korea latest by end August, 2009.

A tourist visa in Thailand is valid for 60 days and extendable for 30 days at the nearest Immigration office. Approach your nearest Thai embassy and apply for a tourist visa. The fee is around 25 USD.

Another option you may have is Visa on arrival; this is available for those landing in Thailand, allowing them to enter the Kingdom for tourism purposes which will allow one to stay in the country for around 30 days. While holding this type of tourist visa, no employment or business can be carried out. The visa obtained on arrival can be extended for another 30 days at the nearest Immigration office. The fee is around $25.
